ISC and its partners organised the 9th edition of the Science Summit around the 78th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA78) on 12-29 September 2023.
The role and contribution of science to attaining the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be the central theme of the Summit. The objective is to develop and launch science collaborations to demonstrate global science mechanisms and activities to support the attainment of the UN SDGs, Agenda 2030 and Local2030. The meeting will also prepare input for the United Nations Summit of the Future, which will take place during UNGA79 beginning on 12 September 2024.

Prof. Dr. Muazzam Ali Khan Khattak is currently serving as Director of Science & Technology as well as Director ICESCO Chair of Data Analytics and Edge Computing at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. Besides that, he is also an adjunct Professor at the School of Computing and Engineering, University of Missouri, KC, USA. Despite his involvement in multiple professional and administrative activities he has copiously contributed to prestigious scientific journals, seminars/conferences both at national/international levels, and has 190 research papers with more than 400+ Impact factors and book chapters to his credit having 2870+ citations. He also organized many international Conferences such as C-CODE-2017, HONET-ICT 2018, CCODE 2019, HONET-ICT 2019, HONET-ICT 2020, HONET-ICT 2021 and HONET-ICT 2022.
Apart from being a Senior Member of IEEE, Senior Member Pakistan Academy of Sciences he is also a senior member of the National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC), member of the HEC Accreditation & Attestation Division for Computing Programs. He is also a technical reviewer of more than 40 national and international conferences and journals.
