ISC and its partners organised the 9th edition of the Science Summit around the 78th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA78) on 12-29 September 2023.
The role and contribution of science to attaining the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be the central theme of the Summit. The objective is to develop and launch science collaborations to demonstrate global science mechanisms and activities to support the attainment of the UN SDGs, Agenda 2030 and Local2030. The meeting will also prepare input for the United Nations Summit of the Future, which will take place during UNGA79 beginning on 12 September 2024.

Muhammad Zubair Khan (Member, IEEE) is serving as post-doctoral fellow at University of Missouri—Kansas City, MO 64110, USA. He received the M.S. degree in software engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2015 and Ph.D degree in computer science from the University of Missouri—Kansas City, MO 64110, USA in 2022. Since 2018, he has been with the School of Computing and Engineering, University
of Missouri—Kansas City, as a Research Fellow and a Graduate Teaching Assistant. His research interests include image processing, deep learning, medical image analysis, computer-aided
medical diagnostics, cloud and parallel computing, and software analytics. He is awarded with the higher education commission scholarship for faculty development to complete his doctoral studies
